What was originally a draining experience, turned to ecstasy with the visit of one person.

Who would've thought a person could shift your whole life just by being there? That's Shalimar.

I was working in one of the most stressful departments and would be down every single day due to conflicts in the workplace.

For the first month, I've been struggling every day with work and my personal life, as it's a mountain in the middle of nowhere, working around Italians and the French who barely spoke English. During this time, we're doing long distance, calling every day after work to tell her what happened during work.

I would work and look forward to her voice every single day.

It was partially good, but it was taking a toll on me, she knew this, and she booked a 19 hour flight to see me.

And there it was, some of the best 2 months

of my life.

I've always loved cooking for her. This day I was working the whole day, so I requested her to make me a chicken teriyaki, and I showed her a bit of how to make it. This day was such a vibe because it really felt like home, her presence and the food. We ate outside enjoying the sceneries of Switzerland and a cat came by to accompany us eat. The air was breezy, and it was the perfect balance. I was so happy this day, and I miss her cooking so much.

Nobody understands me in food as much as she does, this day we were having a picnic by the lake, both enjoying the beautiful scenery. The water was a bit too cold for her, but we had so much good food. A shit ton of Chicken filet bites from KFC because Switzerland really outdid themselves w this one. Her favorite Jogurt drink and a disposable water camera to capture her beautiful face.

This was my birthday, we celebrated in the terrace, also with my mother who the previous week had surprised me. The food was so good and this place after became one of the favorite restaurants.

Boat day, this day we rented a boat, I drove it and we went to the middle of the Montreux lake, went for a swim, and just enjoyed the sceneries together while eating some migrolino sandwich.
